Community Verified DeFAI Index Fund

All Dexponent Smart Contracts use upgradable proxy patterns to maintain the state and address of To establish a decentralised Index Fund managed by independent asset managers and verified by the community. It simplifies the process for investors while ensuring that performance and integrity are validated by the community driven oversight.

Components:

  1. Index Composition

    • The fund aggregates a selection of assets such as tokens, yield-generating strategies, or specific Farms within the protocol.

    • Examples of index types: i) Stablecoin Yield Index: Focused on low-risk strategies with stable returns.

ii) DeFAI Blue-Chip Index: Includes established tokens like $ETH, $BTC, and $MATIC. iii) High-Growth Token Index: Targets emerging tokens and high-return opportunities.

  2. Deployment Process

    • Institutions or asset managers initiate an index by paying a preDeFAIned setup fee (e.g., 100,000 $DXP), ensuring compliance with protocol standards.

    • Community members can delegate $vDXP tokens to signal trust and support for the fund.

  3. Fund Governance

    • Once deployed, the fund is governed by stakeholders, with the community playing a key role in verifying the fund's performance and influencing key decisions.

    • Farm Owners manage rebalancing, allocation adjustments, or adjusting allocation weights.

  4. Community Verification

    • Verifiers within the protocol monitor the fund’s performance, ensuring transparency and optimal returns.

    • Community stakeholders oversee fund operations to ensure they align with the ecosystem’s goals and standards.

  5. Incentive Structure

    • Liquidity Providers (LPs): Receive $DXP rewards proportional to their contributions.

    • Fund Managers: Earn a portion of returns as management fees, incentivising optimal fund performance.

Operational Workflow

  1. Fund Creation

    • An asset manager deploys a diversified index (e.g., "DeFAI Blue-Chip Index") with $ETH, $BTC and $MATIC and associated yield generating strategies.

    • The manager pays the setup fee or gains community support via $vDXP delegation.

  2. Investor Participation

    • Investors contribute liquidity into the fund, gaining exposure to a diversified portfolio without managing individual assets.

  3. Community Verification and Oversight

    • Verifiers actively monitor fund performance metrics, ensuring the fund operated transparency and alignment with objectives.

    • Community members vote on key decisions, such as rebalancing or including new assets, fostering alignment with ecosystem interests.

  4. Returns and Governance

    • LPs earn $DXP rewards which can be reinvested or withdraw profits in the protocol.

  5. Governance and Rebalancing

    • Governance participants initiate and approve rebalancing actions to adapt to market changes or optimise performance.
